Why we say “from”. Her travel depends on how far she comes. If you meet inside her own city it is usually ¥3,000 before tax; the further she travels, the more it is. See the travel table.

With the 5% PayPal fee this one passes ¥100,000 — ¥96,250 → ¥101,063, so PayPal will ask you to confirm your identity before the payment goes through. How payment works.

It does not include your own food, drinks, admission and transport on the day, any options you choose (holding hands ¥5,500, two-shot photos ¥2,200, and so on), or an extension on the day.
Nomination fee. Your first nomination is free, so it is not in the figures above. From your second booking with the same companion, add ¥2,200.
PayPal. We take payment by PayPal only, and PayPal adds a 5% handling fee to every price in the table above — 2 hours and 14 hours alike. A 2-hour date is ¥17,050 + 5% = ¥17,903. See payment.

How we work it out. Travel time is measured from the station nearest her home to your meeting point using Yahoo! Transit. Train fares are estimated on that route and rounded up to the nearest ¥500. We can arrange dates further away too — just ask us.

Where we work

Rent-Kano operates across Japan — Tokyo, Kansai (Osaka · Kyoto · Kobe), Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sapporo, Kanazawa · Toyama, Sendai, Okayama · Kagawa, Shizuoka and Hiroshima. Each companion has her own home area, and she can travel from there to wherever you are. Anywhere else in Japan is possible once you have talked it through with her.

Cancellation

Travel plans change. Before you cancel, please read the first box — moving your date is free.

Postponing or changing your date

¥0free, valid one year

Whatever happens to your plans, talk to us before you cancel. Moving the date costs nothing.

If more than one rule applies, the higher fee is used.
Rent-Kano cancellation policy. Same-day 100 percent, 1 day before 80 percent, 2 days before 50 percent, 3 days before 30 percent. Minimum fee 11,000 yen. Rescheduling and changes are free and valid for up to one year.
First time meeting her? Please check each other’s names before the date starts. It avoids being confused with someone from another service.

Payment

One method: PayPal, in full, before the day. That is all.

How it works
Once you and your companion have agreed the date, and your booking is complete on the website and she has accepted it, our office emails you an invoice with a payment link. You pay through that link.
  • Payment is in full, in advance.
  • Please pay as soon as you can after booking, and within one week at the latest.
  • If payment has not arrived, your companion cannot attend.
You do not need a PayPal account
All card payments run through PayPal, but you can pay as a guest with your card — no account, no sign-up.
  • VISA · Mastercard · AMEX · JCB are accepted.
  • A 5% PayPal handling fee is added on top of the total. It is shown on your invoice, and in the pink line under every price on this page.
  • Your card number is never shared with us.
  • Identity verification is not needed below ¥100,000; it is needed at ¥100,000 or more in one payment. The 5% fee counts towards that ¥100,000. In practice only a 14-hour booking reaches it (¥96,250 + 5% = ¥101,063).
If the amount on the invoice ever looks wrong, tell the office and we will fix it.
If you extend on the day
Extensions are not decided between the two of you alone. The steps are:
  1. Ask her whether she can stay longer, and get her agreement.
  2. She contacts the office.
  3. The office works out the amount and tells her.
  4. She tells you the amount, and you pay her in cash when the extension ends.
This protects both of you — the amount is set by the office, not on the spot.

House rules

Message terms of use. Messages are for arranging your date only. Every message is checked by the office. We are not a dating site, so we cannot accept enquiries other than date bookings.

This is a rental girlfriend service. It is not an adult service and there are no sexual services. It is not a dating site, a matching app, or a way to find a paid relationship.

The basics
For safety, dates in private or enclosed spaces are not permitted. If sexual advances, offers of a paid relationship, kissing, hugging or similar occur during a date, the date ends immediately and no refund is given.

Dates normally run from 6:00 until the last train. Posting or sharing details of the date, or writing about your companion on social media or forums, is not allowed.

Messaging her
Every message goes through our office, and every message is kept on record. If something looks wrong, we read it, and we warn the sender.
  • Messages with sexual content, requests for her private contact details, or offers of a paid relationship may be blocked without notice.
  • Messaging is for arranging the date — not for daily chatting.
  • Your companion may not reply every day. Many have school or work.
  • Blocks and reported messages are shared with all companions, for their safety.

People we cannot accept
  • People connected to adult businesses, host clubs or scouting
  • Anyone under 18, connected to organised crime, using illegal drugs, or intoxicated
  • Anyone who may have a communicable infection, or with poor hygiene
  • Anyone behaving unsafely or unpredictably
  • Anyone unable to pay in advance
  • Anyone who gives false information when applying
  • Anyone with repeated cancellations, bad-faith changes, or loss of contact
  • Anyone with unpaid cancellation fees or other charges
What is not allowed during a date
  • Sexual requests, coercion, or offers of a paid relationship — the date ends immediately
  • Hugging and kissing (holding hands and linking arms are a paid option, and need her consent)
  • Scouting or recruiting her
  • Inviting her to meet outside the service
  • Invading her privacy or following her
  • Abuse, threats, violence or shouting
  • Pressuring her to drink
  • Forcing contact by email, LINE or phone
  • Outfit requests without agreement
  • Photographing, recording or filming without agreement
  • Posting date details or private messages online
  • Touching or taking her belongings
  • Going where she cannot be contacted
  • Keeping her past the booked time (extension fees apply)
  • Asking for her personal LINE ID or phone number
  • Asking her to leave the service, or contacting her after she has left
  • Asking her for money, investments or goods
  • Offering money for a personal relationship or marriage
  • Expensive gifts given in expectation of something in return
If a violation is reported and confirmed after the date, no refund is given and further bookings may be refused. We may report the matter to the police and take legal action; any costs are charged to the customer.
Penalties
  • Causing a companion to leave the service in order to meet her privately — ¥3,000,000 plus ten times the fee for that time
  • Meeting a companion privately outside the company — ¥1,000,000 (an attempt counts the same)
  • Exchanging contact details outside our approved methods — ¥500,000
  • Bad-faith cancellation — the full booking amount, with no refund
  • Soliciting money, investments or goods — ¥3,000,000
  • Failure to pay — five times the invoiced amount plus all legal costs
Jurisdiction
Any dispute relating to Rent-Kano services or these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court with authority over the location of our head office.

Privacy policy

Privacy policy. Your details are used only to arrange your date. We never pass them on without your consent. Information about our customers and our companions is treated with equal care.

Everyone at Rent-Kano Group treats your information as important, and handles it under this policy.

Read the policy
  1. A manager is appointed in each division that handles personal information, and is responsible for managing it properly.
  2. When we collect your information we state the purpose, give you our contact details in advance, and collect only what that purpose needs.
  3. We manage your information properly and work to prevent leakage, loss or damage. We use it only for the stated purpose, and do not give or disclose it to any third party without your consent.
  4. Booking support. Part of taking and handling bookings is carried out for us by a contractor. We give them only the information that task needs. They may use it only to carry out that work for us, they may not pass it on, and we remain responsible for it. This is not disclosure to a third party.
  5. Any company that receives your information with your consent is contractually required to prevent leakage or re-disclosure and to manage it properly.
  6. We may send you information by email, post or telephone about our services or those of our affiliates. You can stop or restart this at any time using the method we provide.
  7. To ask about or correct your information, or to raise a complaint, please contact our support desk. We respond promptly.
  8. We follow the applicable laws on personal information and keep reviewing and improving how we work.
